Eileen Cannistraci, M.Ed. | CEO
Eileen has been an educator in Pennsylvania for over 25 years, serving as a teacher, lead teacher, literacy coach, assistant principal, principal, and currently as CEO of ISPA. She has 10 years of experience working at the School District of Philadelphia and has spent 17 years in cyber education. Eileen earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Penn State University, and her master's degree in educational administration from Drexel University. Eileen is committed to working to ensure students receive an education that meets their needs and provides students with opportunities to achieve their goals. She is honored to serve as the CEO and thrilled to lead the team at ISPA.
Michael Frost, M.Ed. | Executive Director
Michael has worked in education for over 15 years in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has served as a middle school principal and taught various grade levels and subjects at the elementary and middle grade levels. He holds multiple certifications including K–12 Principal, Elementary K–6, and Middle Levels 7–9 in English, history, and science. Michael has a BS in elementary education and MS in science education from Lebanon Valley College and completed an Educational Leadership certification program through Cabrini College. Prior to joining ISPA, he worked with schools across the country as senior analyst for the Program Effectiveness and Analytics team at K12, Inc. He lives in Chester County with his wife, a 4th grade teacher, and daughter.
Rashaun Reid, M.Ed. | Director of Academics
Rashaun is a graduate of Temple University, holding a BS in elementary and early childhood education and an MS in educational leadership. Rashaun is a New York native with deep connections to Philadelphia, New York, and Atlanta where he has spent more than 15 years serving families as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and chief academic officer. Rashaun holds multiple certifications including K–12 Principal, Early Childhood Education N–3, Elementary K–6, and Middle Levels 7–9 in history. Prior to joining ISPA, Rashaun served as a teacher and leadership coach for a network of small schools. Rashaun spends his time between Philadelphia and Atlanta. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to new countries with great beaches.
Beryl Cohen, M.Ed. | High School Principal
Beryl comes to us with experiences as a cyber charter school assistant principal at the middle school. He began his career working in a brick-and-mortar charter high school in Philadelphia.
He taught social studies for eight years before becoming an instructional coach and coordinator of professional development. He takes great pleasure in being active in his home community of northwest Philadelphia, where he mentors youth ages 13–18. Beryl is confident that through collaboration, communication, and fortitude, we will set our school on a path to success.
Jessica Wright, M.Ed. | Middle School Principal
Entering her 14th year in education, Jessica is certified in elementary and special education. She also holds a master’s degree in curriculum, instruction, and assessment, as well as her Principal Certification for grades K–12. Jessica spent the first half of her career as a middle school special education teacher in Pittsburgh Public Schools. She entered cyber education eight years ago as a middle school teacher. For the last several years, she has been in a leadership role focused on student achievement and engagement. Jessica is honored to be a part of the ISPA team. She is passionate about serving the students and knows each student can achieve success!
Jen Jennings, M.A., CAGS, CSP | Director of Special Education Compliance
Jen is a former special education teacher who received her bachelor's degree in special education from Lock Haven University in 2003. During her early teaching career, Jen developed a passion for working with students who presented with complex learning and developmental profiles and pursued a graduate degree in school psychology from Bowie State University in Maryland. She enjoyed five years working as a school psychologist in both brick-and-mortar and online schools. In 2015, Jen was asked to join a special task force within the PDE Bureau of Special Education to rewrite a service guideline publication that is now an accessible resource for all Pennsylvania schools. Of the 14 years she has worked in the field of special education, half of her career has been within the cyber charter school model. Jen is thrilled to welcome new students and families to ISPA, and very much looks forward to the amazing things we will achieve together as one proud ISPA family!
Johanna N. Best | State Reporting and Federal Programs Manager
Johanna holds a bachelor of science in sport and recreation management with a concentration in event leadership from Temple University's School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management. For over 10 years, she has worked as an administrator supporting schools with data collection, reporting, compliance, and grant management. She is an advocate for youth and high-quality public education.
Kelly Bryniarski, M.Ed.| Elementary Principal
Kelly holds a master's of education in educational leadership and administration from Drexel University. Her bachelor’s degree from Millersville University was in elementary and early childhood education. She has worked in education for 23 years. This is her 17th year working in cyber education. The majority of her experience lies in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). She believes that every student can be successful and achieve as long as they receive a high quality education. Kelly enjoys spending time with her three sons, reading, vacationing, and gardening. She is looking forward to serving you and the families and students at ISPA.
