Enrollment and Attendance FAQs
Who is eligible to attend Insight PA Cyber Charter School?
Any student in grades K–12 who resides in Pennsylvania is eligible for full-time enrollment.
How many of my children can I enroll in Insight PA?
There is no limit to the number of children you can enroll.
What does it cost to attend Insight PA?
Insight PA is a public, tuition-free school. Required course materials and technology are provided, though students and families will be responsible for some common household materials (such as printer ink and paper) and basic school supplies. Our enrollment consultants can help address your technological and computer questions and needs.
What is the attendance policy?
Attendance is taken daily by our Insight PA teachers. Students are expected to complete the work in their online courses and attend all scheduled live class connect sessions, including Counselor Connection (Grades K-8) and Seminar Courses (9-12) sessions.
For more information on our attendance requirements, please review the Attendance Policy in our Parent and Student Handbook.
Can our family take a vacation during the school year?
Any out-of-state travel during days school is in session must be reported to the Attendance Office through a trip request form, even if the student will be logging in and attending school regularly while out of the state. Per state law, Insight PA students must retain a permanent residence and be present within the state of PA. No more than 10 consecutive days will generally be approved.
