Michael E. Adler
Insight PA Board of Trustees President

Michael E. Adler, Managing Partner of the Law Office of Michael E. Adler and Real Estate Litigation Attorney, is honored to serve as Insight PA Cyber Charter School’s board president. He focuses his practice on the representation of publicly-traded and privately-held corporations, restaurants, developers and property and financial management companies. He received his Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, in 1998 and his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University, with honors, in 1995.
Along with his dedication to ISPA, he is an active member of the Temple American Inn of Court, an elected officer of the Young Lawyers Division of Philadelphia, and a founding member of the US-Judea Samaria Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Committeeman in Lower Merion Township. He was selected by his peers in the PA Law Weekly and the Legal Intelligencer as a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” and in Philadelphia Magazine as a PA “Super Lawyer.” Michael also serves as a member of the Insight PA Finance Committee.
Alice Solomon

Alice Solomon is a self-employed Business Development Consultant. She provides support to national and global business leaders, including employee assistance, account management, and business development. Alice obtained her Master of Social Service from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School. She earned her bachelors at Penn State University in Health and Human Development. Along with her dedication to ISPA, Alice dedicated her time to the BioMed/Life Sciences committee at the Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce. Alice also serves as a member of the Insight PA Academic Committee.
Lowell L. Thomas, Esq.
Insight PA Board of Trustees Treasurer

Lowell L Thomas, Esq serves as General Counsel for Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation. Mr. Thomas served as a Senior Policy Manager in Governor Rendell’s Policy Office. He assisted Former Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell and the Secretary of Policy and Strategic Planning with policy, legal, legislative and budgetary oversight. His portfolio consisted of the Departments of Community & Economic Development, Banking, State, Labor & Industry, Revenue and Insurance, as well as the State Employees’ Retirement System, Public School Employees’ Retirement System, Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency and Securities Commission. He is also serving as the Co-Chair of the Insight PA Career Pathways Advisory Council and member of the Finance Committee.
Christopher R. Rossi

Christopher Rossi has a strong IT background with skills in Information Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and Finance. He received his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Drexel University. He is certified as a security and privacy practitioner and in Governance of Enterprise IT. He is a member of The International Information System Security Certification Consortium – a nonprofit which specializes in training and certifications for cybersecurity professionals and is also a member of ISACA – an international professional association focused on IT governance. Chris also serves as a member of the Insight PA Academic Committee.
Dr. Katie McGeehan

Dr. Katie McGeehan is a community and cultural psychologist with extensive experience with community-based organizations in socially, economically, and ethnically diverse communities across the country as a consultant, evaluator, researcher, educator, counselor, and scholar. Katie brings experience in service delivery and multi-level systems change to her work. Her experience as an educator includes teaching at the secondary and post-secondary levels, and she has a masters degree in secondary school counseling. She has strong technical skills developed through analysis of community-based research over the past decade, and strong facilitation and coaching skills developed through more than a decade partnering with nonprofits, foundations, and government agencies in the social sector. Katie has content expertise in culturally responsive, community-based research, leadership development, mental health, education, faith-based initiatives, and disaster management. Katie is committed to leveraging the power of applied research to build stronger, more resilient communities. She has conducted community-based systems-level disaster research in the Hawaiian Islands, American Samoa, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands. She is a published author, with results of her research in the fields of disasters and trauma appearing in peer-reviewed journals.
Edward Knittel
Insight PA Board of Trustees Member

Edward J. Knittel serves as Deputy Executive Director for the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs. PSAB is focused upon the continued educational needs of its members and the sustainability of borough government and its residents. He is currently an adjunct instructor for Millersville University.
With over 35 years of municipal government experience, Ed has served as a municipal manager with Boroughs and Townships throughout Pennsylvania including as a municipal consultant to counties, cities, townships and boroughs. He was recognized by the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Society of Public Administration and awarded the “Excellence in Local Government” award. He has degrees from SUNY at Alfred, as well as a BA in Political Science/Economics and a MA in Public Affairs from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He recently served on a three-year national study committee researching the impact of energy development, particularly with regards to natural gas, on communities.
